Resources: Free Screencast/Screen Capture Video Recording

I’ve been looking at doing some tutorial videos at some point and I had been looking at CamStudio, an open-source (free) software program to do the recording.

But tonight, while on Twitter, on those suggested accounts you might like, it recommended @screenr – I went to have a look (I thought it was trading related which is one of my strong interests)… Turns out it’s a site called Screenr which lets you record screencasts really easily, for free.

Haven’t tested it out yet but it looks like an interesting tool, especially for someone who wants to record tutorials or “expert” videos with tips for viewers on their industry.

The convenience there too in Screenr’s caseĀ is that you don’t have to record, save, upload, etc. as you would with traditional programs.
