About Us… The Story

I started building Web sites when the first graphical browser that came out (Netscape) was still in beta. Version 0.9.

It was the very early 90’s. Most of the people on the Internet at that point had been university students and techies. The general public was just starting to discover the Internet.

How did I learn? There were no courses at that time to teach you how to build a Web site. So I got a book that had just come out. It was called something like Learn To Design Sites with HTML in a Week.

I never looked back. I have launched quite a few sites since then, some very successful, some, much much less.

One thing that has remained constant is that I’ve always liked business. And I’ve always had ideas circling around my head. To create every business and every site I’d like, would take me… years and too many employees to even think about. My head is full. And, truthfully, I’m ready to move on. I’ve really enjoyed investing and trading in recent years and the more I move towards that, the more my ideas files get filled with things I’ll never get around to.

So what’s a man to do? I don’t want these ideas sitting in a filing cabinet doing nothing. So I’ve decided to share them with the world.

Some may exist already… do your “due diligence” before starting any business or site. Some might be great ideas. Some, truthfully, are pretty lame. But… hopefully everyone can learn a little something from them. I’ll also be posting scans of many of the hundreds of notes I found in my many ideas files around here.

Enjoy, and thanks for visiting!
